Most photocopiers have a toner waste toner box that needs changing every so often.

An on-going problem with a toner waste box is the monitoring of how full it is. An issue comes up that the toner waste box is full and needs replacing. Does the software that monitors the toner levels also pick up on the waste toner? Yes, but only when its full and that’s too late.

Does the customer have a spare one on site that they can change for the full one to avoid any interruptions to their operations? Often the answer is no.

The photocopier will either not work until it is changed or can cause bigger service issues if not changed.
